We Win Again!

I'll burst if I don't write this, because good music makes me that way. The new Phantom Planet album is so good. So. Good. No Sagen, I didn't get it yet. But I've been listening to my illegally downloaded "Forever" version (two songs are different than on the s/t), and I'm getting shivers. Not just from sitting by the garage door, either. So here's my quickie review. Old fans needn't be so quick to be disappointed, because I'm seeing a lot of that. I almost never love a CD on the first listen. This is my 3rd or 4th time listening to this. It's different, true, but don't dismiss it after the first listen. New fans needn't be so quick to throw it in the Strokes bin. Both bands are scruffy-pretty, dark-haired and young, and that's where the similarity ends. So stop comparing them to the Strokes. Right now. Before I hit you. And I will.

Phew. Now that that's done with.

No it's not. One more thing. PHANTOM PLANET: COME BACK TO ATLANTA. DO NOT ABANDON ME AS RUFUS HAS. I WILL SAY SOMETHING INTELLIGENT THIS TIME. THIS SHOULD BE REASON ENOUGH FOR YOU TO COME. Thank you.

Baby-sat today. Was egged on by balding neighbor for never going outside. Was told by balding neighbor to ride my bike and get some exercise. Listen bud. I get my freaking exercise. Shush before I tell you what I really think of your little menace to society. Er...son.
