Sushi Too

For the first time! And it was GOOD. Raw fish and seaweed. Who knew.

So Patrick is going to Japan for half a year, and I'm actually a little bit sad. True, he has the voice of a nasal Sean Hayes and likes to convince certain pixies of pie to give him school computer passwords and then give them to his friends, but he brought sushi. And it was damn good sushi, with cream cheese. He is forgiven.

In other news, it's the end of the world as we know it. I like country music. Or, rather, bluegrass, and only one group. But it counts, and it is definitely a sign of the apocalypse. Sorry about that. But Nickel Creek rocks! Woo!

I really, really, really would like to learn to play the guitar. Indy played "Disenchanted Lullaby" by the Foos for me today. And, of course, she sang it perfectly. My dad says he's given up on a motorcycle (thank God), but since he used to play bass he wants a guitar. So I figure all I need to do is encourage him a little bit.

Off to play air guitar in front of the television.
