Mog After a brief absence, the guestbook is all better. With shiny new matchiness, too!Yesterday was Laura's 11th birthday party, so naturally Carly and Sagen came over, because it's just not a party without us. We went to the mog (Mall of Georgia...I think this diary might need a dictionary), in search of Frappuchinos and hot skater boys. Sadly, we found neither, because we were out of money and out of time for Starbucks, and the skater boys just weren't awake yet. I did manage to get some much needed earrings, half a Green Day CD, and some green hair dye out of it, though. We came back to the house and, lacking anything better to do, played American Idol, with Laura's friends singing such classic hits as "Soak Up The Sun" and "Shape of My Heart" on her new karaoke machine. Sagen was Simon, Carly was Paula, and I was Randy. This worked out wonderfully for me, because all I had to do was stuff a pillow in my shirt, wear sunglasses, and say "I'm feelin' it, dawg." After we declared a winner, the three of us sang and discovered that Carly has an awesome voice, even when singing "Drops of Jupiter." Sagen dedicated the ode to adultery and school dance stand-in-a-circle-and-sway song, "Follow Me," to me, and I realized that I can't sing. Sigh. So I just gave up and screamed "Fat Lip" with Carly as my drummer and Sagen as air guitarist. After that we amused ourselves by laughing at the Christian Spice Girls on God TV, reading Seventeen, watching Ferris Bueller, and hogging the barbeque chips. Good times. I'm following in the esteemed footsteps of Meg's Boyfriend of the Week and Janelle's Lists of Sexy Bitches. Look for a list of my numerous boyfriends, possibly linking to pictures of their magnificent hotness. 2003-06-08 @ 2:42 a.m. |
