Math, and Legolas Lovin'. If you're wondering what's up with my template lately...so am I. I'll fix it this weekend. Swear. It's supposed to be a collage from the cover of a Led Zeppelin album, which I'm pretty sure I've only listened to once. And I'm not exactly the biggest Zeppelin junkie, although I do like them. Maybe it wasn't meant to be.It looks as if I'm going to have to "buckle down," if you will. I managed a high C in algebra 2, but during an oft-interrupted lecture (Hunter, looking out the window: "Duuuude, look at all them birds!"), my teacher gently explained that this semester is going to be ablsolute fucking hell. As of this week I have failed a quiz and forgotten nearly all of my homework. "Doesn't work up to ability," says the comment section of the report card. But teacher, you don't understand. Ability is not the problem, the problem is capacity. The 'math' section of my brain is quite full, while the 'useful information' sections are getting awfully cob-webby. But that's boring. Let's move on to something more important, like boys. Whee, boys! Two boys in my Spanish class proclaimed their love for Legolas today, both stating quite seriously, "I would do him." I would have taken it as a joke...if they hadn't been so obviously not joking. And it's not even the femmy-ness, either. "He looks really nice there, too" said the boy referring to a picture of a short brown-haired Orlando. The interesting thing is that this is the same boy I was swooning over a month or two ago. I sure know how to pick 'em, don't I? And that, my friends, proves that not even 16 year old truck-driving Georgian ROTC boys can deny the beauty of the Bloom. 2004-01-09 @ 11:52 p.m. |
