You know those "whoa" moments, when something sinks in or hits you or does whatever it does and makes you say, "Whoa, that really happened?" Yeah, I just had one of those. I really thought I didn't give a damn about the governor of California, but...it's...I mean...whaaat? Arnold [i]Schwarzenegger[/i]? How--why would they--how could he--whoa. I (pretty obviously) haven't been following this thing, but it doesn't even seem like he's all that great at English yet. My Spanish teacher met him in an elevator in the '80s, and he was a BODY BUILDER from AUSTRIA. I'm baffled.

And don't even get me started on the word "gubernatorial."

Sammie and I started our campaign for HomophoboPhobia today. We decided to adopt a few fun terms and phrases into our lexicon. I offered my own "That's so straight" and "You're straight." She suggested, "Ew, you're STRAIGHT?" We also came up with "I'm ok with it. Some of my best friends are straight. As long as they don't talk about it and shove it in my face, I'm fine with it." Actually, that's badly paraphrased and completely stolen from our darling Ted Allen and his Advocate interview. I don't think he would mind, though, do you? We then proceeded to make the two unfortunate boys behind us into our guinea pigs. We made them very uncomfortable and it was very amusing.

Also: I’m announcing my availability for homecoming. I know all you boys out there must be so thrilled. Applications are to be sent through email. Please provide name, age, picture, how you intend on getting to Georgia within the next week or so, and a short essay on your likes (me), dislikes (cheerleaders who steal cute junior boys), and interests (going with me to homecoming.) I am willing to pay you two dollars in cash, a lifetime supply of silver craft glitter, and my LFO, Vitamin C, and Pink CDs.

Offer ends whenever homecoming is; I seem to have forgotten the date. Dates are not refundable, returnable, or tax deductible. Mind subject to change should I not find a dress or just not feel like going.
