Last! Day! Of! Schooool!

I got my Diary Review, hurray! And, oddly enough, even though I got a 71 and need to get a re-review in 30 days, I am really happy with it. It's constructive criticism, for sure, and gave me a lot of good ideas as to how to improve this thing. Which is going to be easier now that...

SCHOOL is OUT, baby. I am a freshman. Hi, I'm PiePixie, and I'm a freshman. Freshie. Me. Haley the freshie! Should I be excited about this? Probably not, but I'm trying to be optimistic. I'm free! Apparently everyone else is feeling relieved, too; as he was about to go to his car, one kid triumphantly shouted "Fuck!", glanced around and saw that no one was going to get him in trouble, and then screamed "FUUUUUUCCK!!!!" again at the top of his lungs.

In other news, my company audition was yesterday. Again, with the letting things get to me, for Jebuslug's sake. ToothpickFreakBitchTeacher is the kind that has the perfect dancer's body, turnout, extension, everything, and thinks that if YOU don't, you must be lazy. Amanda is really thin, but she walked up to her and said in a very condescending voice, "Tuck your stomach in...oh. Hmm." She gave a really long, tough combination and then rolled her eyes and sighed when we needed her to repeat it. I had to stand right in the front, and at one point just stood there because I hadn't gotten the combination at all. So I went home in tears at the prospect of having her next year, and at Richard leaving. I need to toughen up, I know it, and I realize that I'm going to have teachers like her. I think I cry much too easily, and about stupid things. Then when something serious comes up that is actually worth crying about, I can't. I didn't cry on September 11, and I don't cry at weddings or funerals. So, looks like I either come off as a pansy or heartless. Wonderful.

One more thing: I'm a dork for being so proud of myself for this, but Indy taught me the beginning of a Green Day song on the guitar! And I can play it! After I figured out that I was holding the guitar the wrong way! And that only took me 5 minutes! I'm a natural, methinks.

Check out the candy, yo. Yummy.
